About the role
You will be responsible for supervising the plant maintenance and safe management systems on site in accordance with national and Holcim procedures. This includes implementation of comprehensive preventative maintenance plans and timely reaction to unplanned breakdown events. You will actively lead a small team in daily tasks and ensure the plant is maintained to an appropriate level ensuring all compliance requirements are met.
You will be responsible for improving the overall performance of existing assets, so they meet the production requirements at the lowest cost of ownership.
Working hours
Typically shifts run for 10 hours, 5am-3pm or 7am-5pm Monday to Friday with some Saturdays required. Excellent earning potential with overtime.
About you
You will be a self-starter, safety focused, decisive and able to think on your feet. You must be an excellent communicator and be able to work well within a small team whilst leading by example. You will have proven results working in a similar role preferably in Quarrying/Mining, construction materials or heavy industrial manufacturing, with a high level of commercial acumen across maintenance planning and implementation. Experience using SAP or similar CMMS is essential.
Ability to work overtime for shift coverage where required.
