 About the opportunity: 

Reporting to the NSW Aggregates Regional Area Manager, you will provide Sales and Operations Administration support to ensure standardisation, consistency and accuracy in administrative function across Holcim. This is a truly unique and varied role, which could see you across a number of different functions, evolving with business growth. This role would suit someone who has had previous experience in a similar administration role, preferably within the construction or resources industries.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Assisting managers with setting up meetings, functions, presentations, corresponding to emails and telephone calls on their behalf
• Cyclical monthly reporting across sales, purchasing and operations, and the ability to analyse data and suggest resolutions/improvements
• Raising of purchase requisitions, goods receipting & reconciliation of same
• Raising customer quotes with a high level of accuracy & maintenance of same.  Raising of credit/debit notes when necessary.  Supporting weighbridge operators to ensure a high level of accuracy in all things sales
• Reconciliation of Cash Accounts
• Management of general price increase practices & new material creation
• Document control and general filing
• Reception and face to face customer interactions as and when required
• Organising sales and marketing promotional material
• Liaising with customers and contractors, as well as internal staff and management at senior levels
• Running errands and other ad hoc duties that may be required for the smooth running of the business

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Strong written and oral skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• High level of interpersonal and customer services skills
• Ability to plan and prioritise workloads in order to meet deadlines is essential
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• High proficiency in Google & Microsoft Suites      
• Experience in Command and SAP would be an advantage, but not essential
• Demonstrated ability to promote a zero-harm culture
• Have the desire to own this position and be the "gel" within the team
