About the role

This position involves the operation of fixed and mobile quarrying machinery and equipment, and other associated functions to achieve production output and loading of delivery vehicles to meet sales demand.

We are looking for a Multi Skilled mechanically minded operator who has worked in a quarry or similar environment to join our Tynong site. You hold safety as a core value and appreciate the need to keep the workplace safe.

About you:

You will conduct daily prestart inspections on various HME plant and equipment, identify problems and machine faults ensuring these are reported and rectified to assist the site in maintaining a consistent and safe operation at all times. .

• Experience with Front end loader, dump truck, watercart and excavator operations would be ideal
• Complex crushing and blending plant operation and basic maintenance
• Familiar with quarry products and QA manufacturing / stockpiling process
• Quarry plant maintenance
• Must be flexible and willing to work across all facets of quarry activities
• Must be prepared to work overtime when needed
